Sundial Route. Moscardó Neighborhood

Moscardó hides a little-known heritage: the largest collection of sundials in Spain. The Cultural Services and Community Leisure Unit of the Usera District offers the chance to discover it through a guided tour of the Sundial Route.

The tour allows you to explore the 17 pieces created in the 1980s by Alberto Corazón and Juan José Caurcel, a project that integrates art, science, and urban space to represent the passage of time and the neighborhood’s identity.

During the visit, the characteristics of the sundials, the history of the project, and the restoration work carried out in 2022 will be discussed.
